The area is the side squared. the perimeter is 4 times the side.

find the square root of the area and then multiply by 4. For example, if the area is 64, that means the square has a side measurement of 8 A square has four sides, so multiply 8 by 4 to get 32 as a perimeter.

Take the square root of the area to find the length of a side, then the perimeter is 4 times the side length.

No questins ar stupid here!

take the square root of the given area to get the side
then multiply this side by 4 to get perimeter.

example: area of a square = 25 m²
find perimeter.

side = √25 = 5 m
perimeter = 4*5 = 20 m

This is not a stupid question.

Let s be the length of one of the sides of the square (all the sides are equal).
The area of a square is s^2 (s*s).
The perimeter of a square is 4s (s + s + s + s).

So:
A = s^2
P = 4s

Take the square root of both sides of the area equation:
s = sqrt(A)

Substitute s=sqrt(A) into the perimeter equation:
P = 4sqrt(A)

Take the square root of the area and add it together four times, if it really is a square.

no it's not, but it's still okay, if you're not too bright in math, then maybe that means that you were truly made to pursue a different career that doesn't have all that much to do with math, like being a lawyer. Don't let those people put you down, one time some kid looked at the CO2 car i made and said it was really ugly, but i beat his time and on the freestyle course (my car was relly skinny but durable) mine went on the jump, hit the ground really hard, but was still inatct, whereas his car was destroyed. So basically, whoever says you're stupid, ignore them and move on with your life.
