(warning, due to this questions gruesome nature, the faint of heart should read no further!)

I'm writing a horror story that concerns spiders growing to 50' in size and another with humans shrunk to about 1" tall. In each
case black widow spiders feed on humans prior to laying eggs. My question concerns the effects of large amounts of
her spider venom on a human victim. A detailed answer of the venom's paralysis effects and information on how the enzymes
liquify the tissue and how long this process might last. Are the bones liquified too? I've been told that the venom effects vary by spider species as well.

Could someone verify this information: The victims would be paralyzed, then cocooned. Her venom hardens the skin and the victims can be ingested while they are still alive.

Please be as detailed in your explanation as possible.

It was in the Pennsylvanian section of the trail, I can't remember the colors, and it was about the size of a pinky finger nail. The thing that interested me was its reaction speed. I went to flick it of my arm only to find it sitting on my finger. I did it again harder with the same results. I did it several more times simply because I was fascinated by how quickly the bug could react. I finally got it off by letting it crawl onto a leaf along side the trail.
I tried to find an answer myself, but most sites don't list bugs by their reaction speeds. If anyone can help salve my curiosity, I would greatly appreciate it.

I want to modify one of the electrical circuits in my house to run on a battery backup. To do this I want to break the circuit between the breaker box and the first outlet on the circuit and install onto the cut ends a standard outlet and plug. Into the outlet (leading back to the breaker box) I'd attach a large, true-sine output UPS. Into the UPS's battery-backed outlet I'd attache the plug (leading to the outlets and one overhead light). The UPS is rated for the full 20 amp load provided by the circut.

I know that this will work, but I am concerned about electrical code requirements. I realize this varies by locality (I'm in Omaha Nebraska), but I want to know if this is plan can possibly pass requirements.

I was looking at it with binoculars, and saw a fairly large crater in the upper left quarter. It was incredibly bright and almost perfectly round. I used to look at the Moon all the time with a telescope (a BAD garage sale goof when I sold it!), and don't remember ever seeing it. Is it new, or have I just been incredibly unobservant?

a little help.The problem reads:
p=RT/V + (a+bT)/V^2
a and b are constants. Find (dV/dT) holding p constant.
dV/dT is a partial derivative.
It is a physical chemistry problem where we are looking at volume with respect to temperature while holding pressure constant. I attempted to isolate v, however I could not. Explanation would be helpful because I need to understand the process so I can repeat it in the future. Thanks in advance.

I am trying to make this machine that I designed during the summer but am having trouble finding tiny wheels for it. the wheels would have to be 3/4in-2in in diameter and would prefer to have them made out of some sort of composite kind of like rollerblade wheels. I really like WM Berg for their gears and everything, but they don't have any wheels. If anyone knows of a company, preferably with a website, that sells a wide variety of tiny wheels please let me know.
