i want to determine how to describe visual patterns of 3 moons in a novel set in a mythical world.

i have 1 moon that rises at sunset & wanes near midnight; coinciding with 2 sister moons' rise, which would wane at daybreak.

i want to take multiple seasons into account & my planet's axial tilt. would 3 moons cause twice or three times the number of tides as one?

the single moon, the farthest from the planet, would need to travel very, very fast in its orbit, and be quite large in order to be visible from the planet's surface.

the twin moons would travel in very close spatial relationship to one another, the outer moon's speed great enough in relation to the inner one so that they remain in the same visible combination to those viewing from the planet's surface.

does my explanation sound convincing? i have illustrated my mythical planet's lunar orbits here:

it's rough, but better than no visual aid : )

All my life I have heard stories of the King of the Retards. As we all know, retards are divided into 4 classes based on IQ. You have the mild retards (IQ 60-80) You have the moderate retards (IQ 40-60) You have the severe retards... you know the ones with the bike helmets that drool (IQ 20-40) and then you have the rare type of retard... the PROFOUND retard (IQ 0-20). These profound retards are locked away in special insititutions underground to keep the retardation on the surface to a safe level. But, then there is the legendary Retard King... the King of all retards... the source of all retardation... the ground zero of stupidity... It is said this Retard King isnt even humanoid in form... its more just a glowing ball of retardation with an IQ in the negative numbers! How is that possible? A negative IQ?!?!?

Has anyone out there seen this legendary retard king? I have heard stories about him visiting hospitals and smacking new born babies over the head to make them retarded

I found a green bug in my green beans today. It is green in color and has a sligt line of depression about every 1/4'th of a centimeter. In total, it is about 4 centimeters, or maybe slightly over. It does not have any other markings on it, except for a light green line on both sides. The overall color and depressions look like the bug in this picture

Ok so i have tried all of these numbers and ways to figure it out but i am definatley not coming up with the right answer. The question is :

A veterinarian has 100 ft of fencing to construct 6 dog kennels by first building a fence around a rectangular region, and then then subdividing that region into 6 smaller rectangles by placing five fences parallel to one of the sides. Express the total area A, of the kennels as a functions x, where x is the length of one of the seven parallel fences.

I don't even understand what it's asking me really. Help?

I am doing an experiment to create a beautiful woman on the basis of what Charles Darwin said in his Origin of Species (i have it right here):

"all the conditions for the first production of a living organism" could be met "in some warm little pond with all sorts of ammonia and phosphoric salts, light, heat, electricity, etc. present".

i have made a small pond in the yard, have all sorts of salt, have electricity and plenty of light, but where can i get ammonia and what does he mean by etc.?

You are to drive to an interview in another town, at a distance of 350 km on an expressway. The interview is at 11:15 A.M. You plan to drive at around 100 km/h, so you leave at 8:00 A.M. to allow some extra time. You drive at that speed for the first 100 km, but then construction work forces you to slow to 55 km/h for 40 km. What would be the least speed needed for the rest of the trip to arrive in time for the interview?

(I have two answers to this question but I am not sure which is right, if you do answer please include your method for solving as well)

So the main question I am doing is... " The area of a right triangle is 60 sq. in. The longer leg is 1 less than twice the shorter leg. Find the length of each leg. Show all work" what I have so far is "60= (1\2)(x)(2x-1)
60= (1\2)(2x^2-x)..." I cannot figure out how to solve this equation to figure out the variable so I can figure out the sides than use the pythag. theorem for the hypoteneous. Can someone help?
