I have a celestron telescope and the magnification is about 95 times. But I was wondering what and where to look at. So far all we've seen is some bright white balls (stars). Is that mostley what you see?

It seems to me that the motor is in the back and the top doesn't generate heat, therefore there is no reason to believe that leaving a few items on top of the refrigerator would generate more heat and CO2 output.
I don't like taking things at face value, so if anyone has any reasons as to why this might be so I'd appreciate any links and explanations you may offer. Thank you.

If the water in the river is flowing at 1.0 m/s, how long does it take the boat to make a round trip consisting of a 175 m displacement downstream followed by a 175 m displacement upstream?

But how does one derive this?
