A working model of the cell at the molecular/atomic level and working nano machines. Well I know that's 2 things but you can pick one.
The cell model would give us understanding of the cell.
The nano machines would give us the vehicle to apply that knowlege.
This would give complete omnipotence over biology. You name it and we can build a machine to do it. Cure any disease. Reverse aging. Improve human design etc.

when someone discoveries that most of the meds that the drug manufacturers try and shove down your throat really don't do anything to improve your quality of life. And all these new ailments that are treated by all these new drugs are all made up by the drug companies to keep you buying more and more of their crap cures

it would be a drug or any technique that can induce cellular regeneration on all types of cells (especially neurons...) for it can basically help in the rehabilitation on patients with neurologic cases & also in cases of amputation, much like reptiles regenerate a severed tail...
