From what I've read, in its natural life time our sun will turn into a Red Giant and then shrink up into a white dwarf. There is not enough mass for it to collapse into a blackhole. However, I was wondering if there were certain circumstances that could trigger our sun into becoming a blackhole, no matter how unconventional or unlikely the means may be? This question is just in fun.

This is for spherical coordinates, so:
x=psin(a)cos(b)
y=p(a)sin(b)
z=pcos(a)

(a and b are subsituted in for theta and phi, for obvious typing reasons.)

Hello everyone

A 240-110 stepdown transformer is used with quite a lot of equipement in my home and I have recently become a bit concerned about the effects that they have on the equipement.

Thanks to some web page I stumbled across saying that transformers can 'overheat' your equipement etc.

And since most transformers aren't made by any big name brands, there really isn't a way to tell if the one in posession is a 'high quality' one or not.

So my question is, do transformers actually damage your equipement?

Anyone have expertise in this area?

Thank you very much.

Genetics proves there is inteligent design and the fact that things are always in a constant state of change proves evolution so whats wrong if you believe both are right?

I didn't think such a spider existed until i saw one the other day. It was living inside a slightly rolled green leave. It looks just like a black widow but it was green and it had a red hour glass mark on its underside. Was this an adaptation so the spider could hide itself or a new species?
