My math book shows an example of vector cross products:
[1, 3, 4] x [2, -5, 8] = [4, -16, 10]

When I looked at it the answer didn't really make sense to me so I worked it out on paper and I got:
[44, 0, -11]

I thought, hmm....I wonder what I'm doing wrong so I punched it into my calculator and it gave the same answer as what I got.

What did I do wrong?

Here is how my book is working it out:
[1, 3, 4] x [2, -5, 8] = [(3)(8)-(-4)(-5), (-4)(2)-(1)(8), (1)(-5)-(3)(2)] = [4, -16, 10]

I'm completely lost here
Please help!

Thanks in advance

Im just a 15 year old kid and im not a scientist or etc. Im just a kid that is curious whats around me and what is out there. Aliens from other planets are likely a threat to us.

UFO/alien topic will be serious someday. In my own definition, I think Aliens from other galaxy and civilization are "nephilims or fallen angels" that betrayed God due to their issues of free will, lust, pride, or the incomprehensibility of the acts of God.

"Genesis 6:4": There were nephilims in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Nephilim are considered by some to be supernatural beings, specifically the offspring of human women and “sons of God”
Both interpretations say that the lustful breeding of the Nephilim was one of the provocations for Flood, which is also referred to as the Deluge.

Thats my opinion about aliens. :)

Factor the polynomial completely. If the polynomial cannot be factored, write prime.
x^2 + 30x + 225

(x + 15)^2
(x + 15)(x - 15)
(x - 15)^2
prime

Problem 2

Factor the polynomial completely. If the polynomial cannot be factored, write prime.
18y^2 + 81y - 45

(18y - 9)(y + 5)
9(2y - 1)(y + 5)
9(2y + 1)(y - 5)
prime

I'm assuming that putting the spacecraft at the top of a tower of boosters will help. I know many refer to Orion as "Apollo on steroids", and that the design is similar, although larger. I think I read that the bottom of the Orion capsule will have one big shield, similar to Apollo. But will "shuttle-style" tiles still be needed on the sides of the capsule? (I know that most of the heat of re-entry is on the bottom of the ship, but certainly some protection is needed elsewhere.) If tiles are needed, does the simpler design of a capsule allow for more standardized tiles, rather than the very precise size/shape and jigsaw-type assembly of the shuttle's tiles?
Thanks.

Penguins are from the south pole. Penguins and polar bears are from opposite ends of the earth. It is more likely to find a polar bear running with lions in Africa that for a penguin and a Polar bear to be together.
