I need to round to the nearest hundredth.

Depending on the calculator you use you key strokes will be different but :

for a TI graphing (83,84,86,89) this is what your screen should have before you hit enter to get an answer.

radical symbol (3/5) then hit enter to get
0.7745966

single line display calculators need a backwards type entry:
first divide 3 by 5 and hit equals to get an answer on the screen [ 0.6] then hit the square root button to get
0.774566

If it's a graphic calculator you can just enter in the square root symbol followed by the fraction. If it's a regular calculator you can just do the square root of 0.6 which is the same as 3/5.

Take 3 divided by 5 = .6
Then hit the square root button=.7746

Just hit the square root button and put in .6 and it comes up with and answer of .7745966

first put 3 divided by 5

then square the answer

then round it

On my casio, I hit sqrt button, then 3, then A b/c button then five then equals

alternatively 3/5 = 0.6, then sqrt of .6
