Would it be wise to take a few electrical classes from the physics program while im finishing up my degree? Our mechanical engineering degree program offers only 2 electrical classes that are mandatory, and they are basically the same class. I mean we take an electic circuits class in our junior year, then we take another electrical class the next year, and its basically the same stuff, but just a few more things added. Basically they dont offer alot.

Seeing how every mechanical system is powered electronicaly, what should i do to gain more knowledge in this area? Any books i should get, any good websites that explain simple to complex electrical stuff for mechanical engineers?

i have to calculate the standard entropy change (DeltaS^o) for the following equation:

4NH3(g) + 7O2(g) ---> 4NO2(g) + 6H2O(g)

and from the table in the book the values for the standard entropies are:

NH3(g) = 192.3 J/mol*K
O2(g) = 205.0
NO2(g) = 240.0
H2O(g) = 188.7

the answer in the back of the book for the problem is -112 J/K

no matter what i try i can't get the right answer :( does anyone know how to solve this?? thanks!!

From what I hear atropine is the antidote to poisoning through nerve agents. Datura is a common plant in that grows in north america that contains naturally occuring atropine but is normally toxic to ingest. However if atropine is not immediatly availible could you just pick a datura growing on the sidewalk and stop the nerve agent poisoning by eating it?

When I was in the supermarket I went up to the girl with the red tee-shirt with the slogan 'here to help', so I asked for help. Unfortunately she couldn't answer the above question, so I thought I'd ask it here.
(she helped me find the teabags in aisle 3 though)
