I suppose it has to be somewhere. I would consider putting it under Social Science. haha

No, it need not be in this section. Think; alternative medicine. If something works, that which has passed peer review and double-blind testing then we call it medicine. There is no alternative to that. The same with alternative science. No such thing exists.
You must remember, though, that the computer geeks at YA do not set the policy on what is displayed on sites. That policy is set by humanities and, as kendrickflorida referred to, social science twerps. These people are obviously not aware of the difference between education and schooling.

When I looked there, I didn't find any math or science, so I never went back. I don't know where else you would put it, but it doesn't belong under science.

Alternative medicine is entirely different. Its methods will never receive rigorous double-blind testing. Many are useful and effective, but no one will pay the millions of dollars for formal testing because they can't patent it and make money on it.

As long as it keeps the Astrology questions out of Astronomy & Space, I have no problems with it. Leave it alone. Don't go there ... but if you do go there, treat people with respect ... it's their house.
