Take a look at Example #5 on this website please:

http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcI/TrigEquations_CalcI.aspx

(It's about 3/4 of the way down on the page.) I follow everything that he's doing up until the point where he actually plugs in his answers and gets the solutions. I think that HE did something wrong because there's no way possible (or at least not that I can figure out) that you can come up with those answers by plugging in the provided values. Can someone please help with this? Either confirm that he's wrong, or please explain what I'M doing wrong that I keep getting different answers. For example, for the #5, I got things like:

For n = -1
-.2535
-2.0043

For n = -2
-3.3951
-4.9659

For n = -3
-6.5367
-8.1075

WHAT IS UP WITH THIS?! THANK YOU!

I was surfing the web today when I found this and thought I'd share it with all you Yahoo!A users. I just did a google search under "Evolution Problem".

http://www.godandscience.org/evolution/locke.html

I haven't read the books quoted in the essay but after reading the essay I'd highly recommend them. They are "Evolution: A Theory in Crisis" by Michael Denton. And "Darwin's Black Box" by Michael J. Behe.

I'm not going to point these people out, but there are quite a few of them. They say that their book holds the answers to everything and that science is a religion that makes stuff up but can't prove it. What are your thoughts on this?

I was surprised to learn this as it goes against everything I was ever taught about science AND history. Can anyone provide a good argument for this much younger age theory of earth?

I've read that pyramids (any pyramid shaped objects or building from the Great Pyramids to pyramids made of paper) have some strange power. For example, if you place fresh meat under it, it will not rot but dry out. Similarly, the Egyptian pharaohs' body has also been preserved for long centuries, and it is not only due to embalmment and other practices that the Egyptians used for preserving the bodies. Even water and food stays fresh if placed under a pyramid.
Also, it has been proven that pyramids can heal people and some sensitive people even feel a light breeze when they enter a pyramid. Why is that I wonder?
