Below 800 K, dimerization of C2F4 to cyclo-C4F8 follows 2nd order kinetics with k = 10^11.07 exp (-107 kj/mol/RT) cm^3 mol^-1 sec^-1. The molecular diameter of C2F4 is 5.12 A. Calculate k by collision theory and determine steric factor at 725 K.
Please show me how to do this!!!

If c (vector b)- (vector a) = -3/4d (vector a) + 1/4d (vector b),
can you conclude that d=4/3 and c=1/3 through

direct comparison of the coefficients of vector a on the right hand side and the coefficients of vector a on the left hand side to find d

and then do the same for the coefficients of vector b?

Please explain clearly with some reasons. My teacher said this can not be done as you can't compare 4+2=10-6.

Solubility of Sodium Sulfate decreases sharply on cooling from 50 deg C to 0 deg C and crystals are obtaind during cooling. Will the crystals heat or cool pure water during redissolution, if the pure water is at room temperature.(say, 30 deg. C)?(Assume adiabatic conditions, i.e no heat is given to or taken from the system)
