Line L2 has equation 3x + py =14

Find the value of p in the case where

Q1 :L1 is parallel to L2

and

L1 is perpendicular to L2...

We have discovered that the developers of our estate have connected land drains from higher ground to the new surface water systems in the estate. As a result the water authority will not adopt the surface water system and the roads cannot be adopted until that happens. Is it usual to put in drainage this way, because it seems to have opened a huge can of worms!!

We know that ,x^2(xpower2)=x+x+x+........x terms
Differentiate with respect to x
We get,
2x=(1+1+1+.........xterms)
that implies
2x=x*1
2=1
But, this is not possible.

I had did a bradford assay with 5 diff standards namely 0.01mg/ml, 0.02mg/ml, 0.03mg/ml , 0.04mg/ml and 0.05mg/ml and have measured the absorbance at 595nm agaisnt a blank. The pts that i had plot does not really give me a prefect st line graph, can anyone explain it? Also the most imp qn is whether the line should pass thru x-y axis at 0, I feel it should as I had measured the abs against a blank.
