The question is a bit whacky... most of the stars are a few hundred light years away from us. That means the light emerging out from the star takes a few hundred years to reach the earth. Now this implies that the light that has touched the retina of my eyes today was actually emitted by the star a few hudreds years ago. So what could be the current status of the star. Its something like I am actually looking into the past of the star. Probably it could have died out by now? What do you guys suggest?

In a 1000 years what would it look like? Would the moon suck up all the water like a sponge, would the earth have a huge white dessert on one side the planet or would the earth look like a figure 8.
Now remember that the moon didnt collide with earth. It was carefully placed.

Just because the earth is billions of years old, doesn't mean that evolution is true. The bible talks about the earth being created in six days. A "day" could be taken to mean alot of things.

Also, if evolution is true, and there is no God, then why can't scientists create life in laboratories. ALL attempts at this have failed.

Why are scientists trying to figure out the mysteries of life when EVERYTHING we really need is in the bible?

I'm a girl. I have facial and physical features that are considered very feminine but I have mental traits and interests that are stereotypically masculine-technical and systematic and less touchy-feely. I don't feel naturally sympathetic. I mean, I act sweet to people and paste a fake grin on my face but I'd rather do stuff like fish, play games, read and do hobbies than sit around and giggle, hold hands and shop at the mall. I just feel like I think more like a guy and they seem more interested in what I have to say. I also like satire and irony which girls don't seem to get. Girls really don't seem as interested, if I want to have a deep conversation they just pretend to be interested even though I can tell they're bored. I'm pursuing majors and minors in Natural Resources, Language, History, and Philosophy whereas most girls seem to want to be nurses, teachers and counselors.

If f(t) is continuous for t >= 0, the Laplace transform of f is the function F defined by

F(s) = int[0,infinity] f(t) e^(-st) dt

and the domain of F is the set consisting of all numbers s for which the integral converges. Find the Laplace transforms of the following functions:

1. f(t) = 1
2. f(t) = e^t
3. f(t) = t

(I know the answers, but I need to know HOW to get the answers.)

When we isolate RNA, we add acidic phenol so that DNA will go to the phenol phase and RNA keep in water phase. So both they are acid nucleic, why they have different characteristics? Addition, DNA can't be soluble in basic phenol. What is the role of pH here?
Thank you!

Like the anti matter for an electron is a positron. There is possible an anti-matter for each every particle in the universe. When matter and anti-matter collide a large amount of energy is released... This is what I've heard a lon ago... The theory cannot be ignored.
