God. i believe this world was made through intelligent design. DNA and the other complex structures could not have just been formed. it just does not make sense. there had to have been a creator. okay. that is what i believe.

GOD
god is the one who made the earth. According to recent scientific research, the whole universe was one gigantic mass, which scientists call the primary Nebula, they tell us that it was a cosmic explosion or a secondary explosion that gave rise to the sun, the stars, the planets and even the Earth we live on. it is what termed as big bang theory.

In Islam,Quranic provision states “Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together, then I split them apart”.(chapter 21, verse 30). what we can see here is the Holy Quran has mentioned about big bang theory and it is good to know that Holy Quran was revealed over 1400 years ago.

People might say that the particular person used scientific knowledge to prove the Quran. No, the Quraan is not a book of science but rather a book of signs. They are not using science to prove something correct, you need a yardstick or knowledge that is absolute, something ultimate…..

those that do not believe in God, science is generally their yardstick…..but to the Muslim, the Holy Quraan is their ultimate yardstick….the Quraan is also referred to as the “Furqaan” which is the arabic word meaning, the criterion between that which is right and that which is wrong. What yardstick 'science' has said in relatively recent times .....Holy Quran has said 14 centuries ago.

Who could have mentioned these facts in the Quraan over 1400 years ago ?…there are over hundreds of facts in the Holy Quraan that modern science cannot find fault with today.

Quraan is belong to God. therefore there is no doubt to say that God is the creature of the earth and the universe...

science is human beings understanding, hypothesizing, proving, disproving, discovering, theorizing, explaining......It is one way we expand our knowledge about everything. Science can prove and explain how a light bulb works; how the universe began, how the earth came into existance, why bees dance and what happens to a frog in a microwave. Science is not theology; nor is theology a science. Science does not negate the existance of god, such intangible ponderings are matters best left to philosophers.
Now with that said WHY CANT SOME PEOPLE GRASP THE SIMPLE CONCEPT THAT EVOLUTION DOES NOT NEGATE THE EXISTANCE OF GOD. THE EARTHS AGE OF 4.5 BILLION YEARS DOES NOT NEGATE THE EXISTANCE OF GOD.
I believe in god, i believe evolution is a valid theory, that the universe is over 13 billion years old, And the god is alot more complex then most people seem to think he is. With all the diversity found in nature and the universe how can anyone believe the creator to be so single minded when it comes to how man worships him that only one way to do so is permissible?
Of course science did not create the earth, all it can do is explain how it was done.

If it is science that made the earth then all the religions out there are the humans brain way of not facing death and having a belief that there is life after death. If it is God that made earth then science is the humans brain way of trying to understand all the things that a god created that are around them. Either way it all comes down to your own faith

I believe in God ( a supreme being), because the way all the elements of the universe (including our planet earth) is arranged is so very systematic, from the minutest to the largest (by the way, I am starting to believe in the existence of multiverse) that I cannot ponder or imagine how everything would be that way without some sort of an "architect" or a "planner". Definitely God is guiding us and everything. I don't know how, but that is a mystery which cannot be solved, and that is the reason why that being is God.

God made it and science is studying it....

And wherever science comes into picture the creation of the God is defied by its calculative results.

Solar system was created due to big bang and not because god want it. We human beings - Homo Sapiens - To be precise are actually offsprings of monkeys and not a creation of God. The whole life system on this planet has been created due the the climatic and geographic conditions of the planet and not because God wanted it....

Let me tell you a short story. A scientist goes to the God and says, " Hey God, you haven't done anything great. See even I can create a life." He gathers his tools and starts picking up the soil. The God interrupts, "That is cheating son. Create your own soil before you start."

Now this is it, To almost every action, every motion in this universe there is science providing the reasons why it happenned. god did not create the atom. Electrons neutrons and protons combined to do it. These particles are created by still smaller particles, and it goes on untill it comes down to packets of energy. Now how was energy created - matter was transformed into energy. They work are in rotation. This is explained by science. but who designed this rotation. Who designed this whole structure.... Does science have a valid answer for that.

Science is not an entity, it is not a "who", it is the observation, identification, description, experimental investigation, and theoretical explanation of phenomena.

If you meant to ask if the Earth was created by natural processes without a higher power involved, or if there was a higher power involved, then nobody can answer that question with any degree of certainty for you. That is something that cannot be tested. You may choose to believe (BELIEVE is the key word, you cannot KNOW it) whatever you want, but nobody can give you a definite answer to this question.

Well, no one thinks that science made the earth, although some do seem to swallow that other fairy tale. Science is just a method, a system of understanding things by coming up with educated guesses (theories) and they backing them up or disproving them. It doesn't create anything but understanding, and it requires that you have a reason to believe something, and not just believe something for no reason, which religion asks you to do.

trick question, if you say science then you'd be wrong, science is about discovering the truth of creation. and as for god, well science has yet to prove or disprove that there is a creator being, the odds are highly against it but if we ever create a universe in a lab then are we going to be the "gods" of that universe?

Neither.
BTW, science doesn't make things, it is the study of things.

The solar system is a remnant of a supernova explosion which occurred about 6-10 billion years ago. Matter was captured by our sun, and coalesced into the planets. Or, there was so much matter that the Sun also formed from the remnants. Both theories have their supporters.

The rest is history.
