I'm not saying that aliens are real, but there are so many stories with aliens, and I haven't read one that has my idea.
my idea is this. if aliens come from a different world, or galaxy, or they see an entirely different spectrum than us, or whatever, why can we see them? like, if they were so different, maybe they would be composed of cells and organisms and molecules that our eyes couldn't see. maybe our spectrum is completely different from thiers. does anyone agree with me, or do you think I'm crazy and I think too much?

The English Channel is a drowned river valley. Until a few thousand years ago there was dry land between England and France. So even today nowhere in the Channel is much more than one hundred feet deep (even with rising sea levels due to global warming it would not be much more than 150 feet). And many dams are higher than that. So could the Channel be reclaimed like much of the Netherlands? Perhaps it could be used for overspill housing for London as well as transport.

Presumably one could provide a ship canal. Also discharge facilities for the nuclear reactors at Gravelines and Dungeness.

As well as technical feasibility (I would like to know details of how the damming would be done) perhaps your answer could consider:-
1. How long the engineering would take.
2. What might the cost be.
3. What could the environmental effects be.

hi, anyone can guide mee to where I can find the answers to the questions below:
1_ what is the physical structure of a holographic film. I know we are talking about cristals, I am more intersted in their structure, their separation from each other - if any
2_ after the light and phase have been recorderd, what is their structure then?
I am guessing each will "diffract" (sorry english is not my main language)) the light in every direction, this donee by each cristal (or group of cristals) how does it work physically with its impact on the optic side (is the beam just bouncing back, how is it de-pahased if it is....
is the change of phase due to the height of the layers (with the diferent speed of light in it, making it slower to travel, therefore) when travelling into more of the layer, it will come out dephased more.

I know the above might sound weird, but that is why I ask.

did anybody else see something that looked like a huge firework in the new mexico sky and appeared to not be moving at first then it broke up into 5-6 pieces and left a trail like a falling star would leave around 6:17 am? it started in the nw part of the sky and headed south. my husband and i seen it on our way to work! we are really hoping somebody can tell us what it is! we sent in a "fireball report" to 2 different places and have not heard anything back as of yet!
