Let's get you started. Let u = 2x
and solve tan 2u -tan u = 0 in the range -8*pi < u < 0.
Good luck

tan4x=tan2x
4x=n(pi)+2x nis integer
2x=n(pi)
x=npi/2

according to given domain values of n may be found

(sin 4x/cos4x)-(sin2x/cos2x)=0
(sin4x*c0s2x)-(cos4x*sin2x)/cos4x cos2x=0
sin(4x-2x)/cos4x cos2x=0
sin(2x)=0
2x=n*pi
from ur condition
-4pi -4pi solving...
-8 therefore n can be -7,-6,-5....-1
since x=n*pi/2
so possible values of x are -7pi/2,-6pi/2,-5pi/2........-1pi/2

substitue 2x = a

Then you have:
tan(2a) - tan(a) = 0

Then use : tan(2A) = 2 tan A / (1 − tan²A)
