a question about aliens?

I'm not saying that aliens are real, but there are so many stories with aliens, and I haven't read one that has my idea.
my idea is this. if aliens come from a different world, or galaxy, or they see an entirely different spectrum than us, or whatever, why can we see them? like, if they were so different, maybe they would be composed of cells and organisms and molecules that our eyes couldn't see. maybe our spectrum is completely different from thiers. does anyone agree with me, or do you think I'm crazy and I think too much?

Well.. this a good one.. maybe the aliens are quite different than us...Maybe because of advanced technology.. they've reached to plasma or photnic technollogy.. or other strage things... it is a question for great scientists.... As long as they're made of matter, we could see them. We have tools available that let us "see" the entire electromagnetic spectrum, even those parts we can't see with our naked eyes. Not a problem no matter what they're made of.

Here's the real question for you: Let's assume for a moment that there really are intelligent beings on some other planet several hundred light years away. They are so advanced technologically that they develop a way to travel that distance in a short time, making it possible for them to come to earth. Clearly they're VERY smart.
OK, if they're so smart, why do they come all this way, and then bumble around our skies with bright lights on their ships (UFOs always have bright lights)? If they wanted to make contact, they could land on the white house lawn and say howdy. If they wanted to stay hidden, they wouldn't bumble around with bright lights on their ships -- surely if that that smart, they'd know to turn off their lights.... So what's the deal? :)

There is no evidence of any kind that any aliens have ever visited the earth. And given the distances involved to the nearest systems that could possibly have life, it's not likely any ever will, either.

Aliens are real,their make up is no doubt based on some type of DNA.
The possibilities are so great that they could look like just about anything you could imagine!
Likely they would see and operate in a range of light that we exist in.
You are thinking the right way,the sky is the limit!

We don't "have" a spectrum. If an alien is made of material, that material will reflect some of the visible light that hits it, or it will absorb all of the light that hits it. Either way, our eyes will tell us that it is there. The exception would be if they were so small that we couldn't see them.

Aliens could be real?I'm not saying your crazy.But there are scientists that believe there are aliens for sure.And other ones that don't.Maybe in the 22 century.People may discover aliens?
Or astronauts will go to new galaxies.Or even people that disover aliens wil become friends.U.F.O. sightings could also be found?Even a space craft from outer space could crash on earth.In other words i agree.

You could be on to something, aliens could have become so far ahead of us the dont need bodys because they are to inferior. The aliens could have evolved into a sort of "entity". I think this is probably what has happened.

If they ever got here and were made of conventional matter, they would affect the light we have from the sun. If that happened, our eyes would detect it.
