I'm asking this because I feel horrible, don't you just HATE it when you feel like you're about to throw up? I mean the worst part is before you throw up, but after it's just like "eww thats nasty but the worst part was pending it." Am I right?

The cost of a taxi ride is $2 for the first 1/5 mile and $.30 for each additional 1/5 mile. From 8pm to 6am there is a $.50 surcharge added to the cost of the ride after the first 1/5 mile. If Elizabeth got into a taxi at 9:05pm and paid $7.60, how far did she ride to the nearest 1/5 mile?

For example, there was a problem that asks you how much heat was transferred, when 147g of NO2 is dissolved in 100g of water, and the equation was 3NO2 (g) + H2O (l) --> 2HNO2 (aq) +NO(g), and the delta H = -138kJ.

How do you know whether to calculate how much heat was released, by using 147g of NO2, or 100g of H2O?

I need to be able to press a push button switch but have the circuit open faster than I can remove my finger. This is connected to a multivibrator which is set for a very fast pulse but the pulse is not consistent because the pushbutton stays down longer than the pulse would be, extending the pulse.
