Sure
Log (base b) a=log a/ log b

Log ab= log a +log b

Log a^b=b*log a

Log (a/b)= log a - log b

Same applies to natural logarithms

well you can browse the web about the basics. there are lots of infos. just do the google thing.suggestion : type this in the search bar " Basic Logarithm formulas and equations +pdf", pls without quotations. well, im an engg student, you may bump in one of this expressions: Log10 - Log2 = Log (10/2) = Log 5

i hope that will help you.

a logarithm is an exponent

say x = a ^ b

than log base x (a) = b

ex. 100 = 10 ^2 *log w/o a base is log base 10
log base 10 (2) = 100

natural logs (ln) are simalar, but with the number "e" (2.718...) instead of 10

a^log base a of b = b
log base a of a^b = b
log base a of (b*c) = log base a of b + log base a of c
log base a of (b/c) = log base a of b - log base a of c
log base a of b^c = c * log base a of b
log base a of b = log base c of b / log base c of a
log base a^c of b = 1/c * log base a of b
