I'm in desperate need of physics help. This problem is complicated.

A particle of mass 0.5-kg is shot from P, 60m above the ground at an angle of theta. The particle has an inital velocity vector V(initial) with a horizontal component of 30 m/s. The particle rises to a mazimum height of 20m above P. Using the law of conservation of energy, determine a) the vertical component of vector V(initial), b) the work done by the gravitational force on the particle during its motion from P to the ground, and c) the horizontal and vertical components of the velocity vector when the particle reaches the ground.

Please...please....sigh.

A 2.44 kg block is pushed 1.56 m up a vertical wall with constant speed by a constant force of magnitude F applied at an angle of 58.2 degrees with the horizontal. The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s2. If the coefficient of kinetic friction between the block and wall is 0.65 find the work done by F.
