Really depends on the species because for instance you have the sea snakes that really spend all their time in the water, and are quite graceful. Then you have the black mamba which is the fastest land snake, and man is it quick. But then you have those large bodied snakes like the green anaconda where they tend to spend more time in the water because the water helps them to support their own body, and so while they are not exactly graceful on either land or water, they are not slow in either case.

Depends on the type of snake. Land snakes will move fast on land and water snakes will move fast on water.

but if ur asking relatively,,,,, then take example of anaconda
anacondas are largest snakes in the world which are very sluggish on land but they are good swimmer and offensive in water........they are more dangerous in water

Depends on the species...but there are land snakes that can "outrun" a human.
