WBC count of 5.2 is within normal. A normal white blood cell count ranges from 4,500 to 10,000 ( 4.5 -10) cells per microliter of blood. A mild decrease in white blood cells below 4,500 cells per microliter doesn't necessarily indicate a serious illness. More than 10,000 cells per microliter usually indicate an infection.♥

That's normal for most. Our lab states 4.8-10.8 as normal. Mine is actually much lower at 3.6. But, I never get sick. Some people have low WBC counts. I think it means I've evolved to be better than human. ;)

Now, if that check it again and it's 10 then that's a good indication you have an infection. Or, it may mean that you are stressed.
