10y + 18 + 3y -7 -13y = 0
10y - 10y + 11 = 0
11 = 0

This cannot be possible.

I assume you want to solve for y:

Combine like terms: 10y + 3y - 13y = 0

-(-18) - 7 = 18-7 = 11.

0 + 11 = 0 ???

NO solution, did you copy your y's correctly? They shouldn't all just cancel out before we solve the problem.

10y-(-18) +3y-7-13y=0

10y+18+3y-7-13y=0

13y+11-13y=0

11=0 It is impossible

0=-11

there is no solution.
