I've read a few books by Lawrence Kraws (SP? Right name hopefully?) Which were interesting, I LOVE to watch videos on space.com, I like watching Astronomy specials on the Science, Discovery, and History channel.

Any other reccomendations to help quench this thirst? I'm REALLY REALLY curious!

I think I did this right, but I'm not sure:

HF It's shape would be Linear and it's non-polar, its IFM is Hydrogen Bond.

CO2 It's shape is Linear, it's polar and its IFM is Dipole-Dipole.

I was thinking of what organism you would put on a sign, symbol, flag, stamp, coaster etc. to represent the wildlife of your region.

Specify where you live, of course.

My boss claimed that the radio reception is poor during rush hour when everyone is listening while in close proximity to each other. I said that radio waves go in all directions and most are wasted, and that the radio wave you get is not the same as the one other people get. I think the poor reception may be interference from all the metal of nearby cars. Who is right? Answers with reference please or background on the subject please, not opinions.

I need a "set induction" for a lesson plan on how night and day occur and the phases of the moon. This is the introduction to the lesson where I would use interesting facts or a quick activity to catch the interest of the students. It doesnt have to be directly related to the lesson, but it needs to have a common thread. Then I would tie it into the lesson. any suggestions?
