After the Big Bang which to my understanding started as a single spot smaller than the dot at the end of this sentence and then has expanded to the current size of the universe. With my simple logic I would assume that the expansion would leave a every growing empty space at the center of the universe but I have never heard any one speak of it.

After a snowstorm a girl and a boy decide to have a snowball fight. The girl uses a slingshot to shoot snowballs at the boy. Assume that the girl fires each snowball at an angle (-) from the ground and that the snowballs travel with an initial velocity of v0. HELP! I have no clue how to figure this one out!

ok this is the problem: A storekeeper goes to the bank to get 10 dollers worth of change. He requests twice as many quarters as half dollars, twice as many dimes as quarters, three times as many nickles as dimes, and no pennies or dollars. How many of each coin did the storekeeper get? Thanks so much if you can answer it....or at least sorta figure it out or at least just get an equation for it would be fine and i will find the answer if u can just get the equation.......Thanks

Block 1 has mass M, block 2 has 2M, and block 3 has 2M. What is the coeffieent of kinetic friction between block 2 and the table?

Answer: Let the tensions of on the strings connecting m2 and m3 be T23, and that connectiong m2 and m1 be T12, respectively. Applying Newton's second law with FN= m2g in this case to the system we have

m3g - T = m3a
T23 - µk m2g - T12 = m2a
T12 - m1g = m1a

Adding up the three equations and using m1 = M, m2 = m3 = 2M, we obtain

2Mg- 2µk Mg - Mg = 5 Ma

With a = 0.5m/s^2 this yields µk = 0.372. Thus, the coefficient of kinetic friction is roughly µk = 0.37

If you can, please explain and show haw they solved for µk because I didn't understand that last part. Thank you

equation:
log x + log (x + 15) = 2

I know since the equation doesn't give a "base" it is assumed as 10. So the next step would be to change this log equation into an exponential equation but how do I solve for "x" when the equation is x^2 + 15x=100 ? maybe my exponential equation is wrong. Thanks for your help.
