A 873-kg (1930-lb) dragster, starting from rest, attains a speed of 26.3 m\s^2 (58.9 mph) in 0.59 seconds.
I need need with the following problems.

a. find the average acceleration of the dragster during this time interval.

b. what is the magnitude of the average net force on the dragster during this time?

c. assume that the driver has a mass of 68kg. What horizontal forces does the seat exert on the driver?

Especially the last part.

They are about 4,600 miles apart but if you draw a line from North Korea to Hawaii its almost a straight shot. I don't know how tectonic plates work, could be a coincidence.

I am concerned-normally i find little tiny black beetles in my room (ew) and i cant rid of them-now i have now found a new beetle shell was about a centimetre in diameter-its yellow with black markings-with 2 large T's on it. im freaking out, im not a bug person and i have been living with these bugs-nothing works-no idea what the source is. Find the equation of the tangent line to the curve at the point corresponding to the given value of the parameter:

x = t^4 + 1
y = t^3 + t
t = -1

The answer is -x, I just don't know how to go about solving it...

m (slope) = y'/x' (y-prime divided by x-prime) = (3t^2 + 1)/(4t^3) | t = -1; m = -1?

So I guess:
x = (-1)^4 + 1 = 2
y = (1)^3 + (-1) = 0

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - 0 = -1(x - 2)
y = -x + 2

So I don't know...either the book is wrong, or I'm wrong. I'm betting I'm wrong :)

If you were decelerating, but you doubled your initial speed...what does this do to the time and distance it takes to stop my car?

To do this would I just plug in random numbers?
