I think there are a lot of people on this thing fishing for free homework help in Math and Physics. Should we help them at the cost of them actually learning? Why shouldn't we just give them some good hints and a direction and let them figure some of the homework assignment out?

In this problem the lawnmower is pushed using a massless handle, which makes an angle with the horizontal. Assume that , the force exerted by the handle, is parallel to the handle.Take the positive x direction to be to the right and the postive y direction to be upward.Find the magnitude, , of the force required to slide the lawnmower over the ground at constant speed by pushing the handle.

Does natural selection ever depress anyone? How about the food chain?

Natural selection seems to be at the root of everything evil in this world - bullies, affairs, xenophobia, racism. We all are driven to spread our genes. ( I know we have developed morals too though)

What about the food chain? Does life always have to involve killing the being below you and consuming it?

Can you imagine intelligent life evolving on another planet that wouldn't be based on these natural selection and the food chain?

Maybe there is sci-fi out there about this?
