I heard that since the purpose of Daylight Savings has pretty much passed, there is talk of eliminating it altogether. However, I'm not sure when this may occur, and which of the turning the clocks (in fall or spring) would be the final turn. Any insight would be most appreciated.

So if you take a weight of 100 lbs and drop it 5 ft on the end of a 5 ft long metal bar this creates 2500lbs of torque... Correct? If i am worng please let me know :)

So if you have a turbine blade that you drop the 100lbs from 5 ft on a 5 ft turbine blade and the blade is at 9 o'clock (horizontal) how much torque will the weight be applying once the blade hits 6 o'clock (vertical) before the weight falls off? Will it still be 2500lbs?
