We have a water softener in our home, but we believe it is not working properly. Rather than purchase a test-kit, is there an easy test we can do here at home to determine whether or not it is functioning properly? You would think we could tell the difference in the shower, but we just aren't sure. Sometimes we think it works, and sometimes we think it doesn't. We just want to make sure before we call a repair-person out. Thanks!

Please, answer that!

And this one: is not correct to think that the several "universes" that the scientists postuate today is, as a whole, a univese only? A universe made of universes is a univese... not different universes...

Just think,,, large self contained structures with large expanses for growing food, parks, trees and birds,, some on the surface,, most below to protect from radiation.

1/6th gravity sports, and recreation, a means of learning to recycle EVERYTHING and expand our foothold away from our ever shrinking earth bound resources.
I belive it is not only possible but imperative we start NOW to get off of this rock before it is too late.
Anyone agree?

1. Find the volts available at the secoundary.
2. The current in a ten ohm device connected to the secoundary.
3. The power supplied to the primary.

I know the first one, 60V in the secoundary.

Not sure how to solve the 2nd. I know the formula is C=V/T....

the third the formula is Power=C*V

Anyone want to help me out. Not sure what to plug in to get the results....explain please

I know the answer is 103.71, but I need to show my work. I just plugged in mnumbers until I found it. Can someone explain to me how they got hte answer? At first i used two equations like
X * .08 = T

X + T = 112
X = 112-T

,but then that would mean (112-T).08 = Tand then it would beb 8.96 -.08T = T and I do not know how to solve that.

If i was going to go five seconds into the past to stop myself from going to the past - then all of a sudden before i visit the past another me comes streaming forth out of nowhere and successfully stops me visiting the past - wouldn't that prove alternate dimensions?

That would mean i was successful in stopping myself visiting the past - but if i didn't ever visit the past who's the guy standing in front of me? It would have to be me from another timeline in which i was successful in halting my own progression through time and the me in the current dimension is an alternate reality in which my time travelling attempt failed.

It might be a little confusing - but time travel is actually possible and this shows that alternate dimensions probably exist. The only case in which this shouldn't be accepted is if "destiny" guides our every move and in turn makes it impossible for me to interact with myself - through a series of coincidences what render my time travelling attempts moot.
