I am building my own type of heating system: A meander of copper pipes under the floorboards of my house is filled with water. The water is in a closed cycle and gets warmed up by an instant water heater, which gets its power from a wind turbine capable of delivering 400W. While this may not sound like much, consider that the water heater will be fed with pre-warmed water all the time, as "what goes around comes around" I am hoping to create some serious heat with this (well, at least enough to keep an old Victorian house cozy at temperatures around freezing point). Would you say that could work? I am very unsure of myself, because I know nothing about plumbing and heating.
I'd be very grateful for input.
Thanks.

I understand that you have to multiply both sides by LCD, which is 4, but it seems like my math instructions are leaving out the multiplication by 4 on the left side of the equation.

6 (x+6)
--------- = 4x - 1
4

A car traveling at 29 m/s (65 mi/h) runs into a bridge abutment after the driver falls asleep at the wheel.

If the driver is wearing a seat belt and comes to reat within a 1.0 m distance. what is his acceleration?

A passenger who isn't wearing a seat belt is thrown into the windshield and comes to a stop in a distance of 10.0 cm what is the acceleration of the passenger?

Okay, so we have to find two accelerations, what formulas do i use to find out what they are...

I am supposed to draw a FBD for a car traveling around a "loop-the-loop". It is at its highest point in the loop. Am I correct in saying the acceleration is straight down, towards the center? Also, was force(s) should I have on this FBD other that gravity? We are to assume negligible friction. I also need an equation for the force in the radial direction (vertical in this case). Car has mass m and loop has radius r. Should the equation be that F=m*v^2/r^2 or something similiar to that? Answer one part if that's all you can help with. Thanks!
