I do not mean the volume of an object. I am talking about the objects shape (square, sphere, etc.). How does on objects shape effect its density?

Astronomical observations show that the centre of mass of the earth moon system is 4.7x10^6 from the centre of the earth. The distance between the centres if the earth and moon is 384.4x10^6. I don't know whether it means that the gravitational potential at this so called centre of mass of the system is zero or what is the question meaning in saying that the centre of mass of the system , how does it help , what does it imply?

hi
as we know gravity and its effects ..
i really wanna know what creats gravity..
on earth we can say its is the sheer attraction of two objects in space..

and one of the reasons why gravity exists is due to the heat source of the sun and the core of the earth and other planets,,

but a black hole has no mass at all its smaller than a speck of sand so far we understand.........
then how come is this small black hole has immense gravity....
so much of gravity enough to destroy the whole milky way galaxy in the coming 50 million years......!!

oh and i am not bothered or worried of the planet as my very existence is not possible by that time ...

but this question might answer me from you what to do and what to understand to live a better life ...so please answer the right way...
because this is surely not an other stupid question !!!!!!

Is there an organism that can only live by feeding on its own kind, and it does get any nourishment by feeding on anything else?

Thanks.

Find the limit of a? as the limit approaches infinity and b) as the limit approaches negative infinity of (3X^2-6X)/(4X-8). I understand that the answer has to be infinity and negative infinity. But can someone explain to me why mathematically it works out?
