I am writing a sci/fi book and I would like it to be as close to earth as I can in space. Are there any planets in orbit to a near by star that are like earth that are known? And not earth itself.

Use the distriputive property to simplify each expression.
1. -2 (-3x-5)

2. (3x-7)(3x+5)

add or subtract like terms to simplify the expression.

(3x+2y-4) - (2x-3y+5)

solve the system.

x+3y=10
2x+y=5

According to Animal Planet and what we've learned in school, the Black Mamba is the most dangerous snake in the world (and the fastest one at that) because of A) it's aggressive nature, B) its potent venom, and C) the ability to strike repeatedly with more venom being injected each time.

However, on an episode of Animal Planet's "The Most Extreme," it was noted that the King Cobra was the deadliest. Athough its venom is less potent than that of the Mamba, it can inject copious amounts of it. According to this show, the Mamba is the 3rd most dangerous snake. The second is the Taipan, a venomous snake found in Australia (but the Taipan is quite shy unless it's cornered).

To me, I have reason to believe that the Mamba is the most dangerous considering its aggressive nature and the potency of its venom. If bitten, a person has between 45 min. and an hour to receive anti-venom treatment, which isn't very long, considering that anti-venom is scarce where the Mamba lives.
