You bet your bippy you can... The field will shake and roll. Ruts will appear across the surface of the field and huge, deep crevases will shoot across the field in front of or behind you like someone tearing a sheet of paper in half. The earth will shake and tremble for maybe 3 or 4 minutes and aftershocks will occur at random for the next several hours. Steam may come up out of the ground in places. Underground pipes will burst. If large mountains or cliffs are near the field, it is possible that landslides may occur. If the field is downstream from a Dam, there is a good possibility that the dam will rupture sending huge torrents of water your way.
Earthquakes are no little matter. They are truly frightening and beyond your wildest imagination in destructive force.
