Actually Class A - Volumetric cylinder will give the most accurate volume measurement for liquids. Because, it is calibrated for this specific purpose - Volumetric Analysis.

Another important measuring device for liquids is volumetric Pipette (Class A).

Graduated cylinder will give you some what accurate because their precision is (+/- 10% range).

Beaker is probably the least precise device when it comes to accuracy.

I agree with the others a graduated cylinder gives more accurate results. But remember their are different diameters of graduated cylinders. Some are fairly large and not as accurate for measuring a small amount of liquid.

graduated cylinder. Desined for it. The diameter of the opening is much smaller than a beaker so smaller volume change results in greater fluid level change, hence more accurate.

Actually if you want precise volumes then you should be using a volumetric flask. It is designed to hold an exact amount at the mark on the neck (at the base of the meniscus).

Graduated cylinder - smaller increments, less percentage uncertainty therefore more precise measurements

graduated measuring cylinder, because it measures smaller volumes, so it is more likely that u'll get an answer that is more precise.

graduated cylinder. they are made to be precise though they do need to be calibrated. beaker just gives you a rough estimation.
