The system, x+3y=10
2x+y=5, y is 3 and x=1. to verify, substitute in both equations. For (3x-7)(3x+5) when u multiply u get a quadratic equation. solving d quadratic equation gives u x=7/3 or x=-5/3.

y=5-2x
(10-3y)+3y=10

cuz negative and a postive cancel out
