Einstein had some great ideas and theories but he was also a man of peace. His ideas were crucial in developing the nuclear bomb and possible other military technology. Would Einstien look at his life as a success or would he regret every getting into the field of physics?

Hey, people, answer seriously. 0(zero) means nothing. According to the law, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. So, nothingness cannot be increased in the universe. So, it should be undefined. Zero times 4 is zero, but there can't be a '4 times zero.' You can't have 4 times nothing.

What is it that makes every persons voice sound different .. even if similar there is usually something that doesn't sound quite the same. You can often recognise a persons voice even if you have only spoken to them a couple of times on the phone before. Also what is it that changes about the voice in time .. as you can usually guess a persons age from hearing their voice .. but sometimes peoples voices sound fairly young (20's-30ish) but they are actually more like 40's-50. Still other people are middle aged but when they answer the phone they sound like little kids and people ask to speak to their parents!

In short; - what causes the different sound of voices
- how/why does your voice change with age

Thanks to all who answer.

I read that if you read the book of genesis really carefully then you will find evidence that there was a second earth before this one. While i do not believe this, it will come in handy with a paper im writing so whoever is most convincing in using the book of genesis as a base of their case that their used to be another earth gets best answer, and feel free to branch outside of the bible in presenting evidence.

Neil Gaiman, creator of "The Sandman" series, once recounted in one of his works a very strange thing which happened to him at 16. Walking through a forest late one night, he noticed among the sea of stars a single star, which stood out because it seemed to be flickering oddly. He stopped and stared, and as he watched, the star grew brighter and brighter, until everything around him was burning white - in his words he could see "every blade of grass", illuminated. The star then dimmed, withdrawing its light, until it was again just another pinprick in the sky. Mr Gaiman waited after for a full 15 minutes, but nothing else happened.

So does anyone know if there's actually some scientific reason behind this occurence, or is it one of those things which just can't be explained away?

Also, please tell me what you think we should do with the continent once we have charted it out? What should we name it? Should I turn it into a landfill, a giant hotel, or what? Should I search for oil, or try to domesticate the strange animals that live there?

You may say about newton or einstein but remember hitting the world with some ideas does not make one a genius. It may help him to take a place in the greats but become a grate & a genius are not the same. Greatness is a thing which is achived but Genius is the astounding inborne ability inside a man. What is a genius?Let start with one of the greatests (perhaps greatest genius)mathematical genius,RAMANUJAN.Whos LIGHTNING QUICK computational ability was legendry(only gauss will come close). His ability to manipulate algebric variable is unmatched in the histroy.BUT what makes him a man from heaven is his notorious intution. At the age of10he derived the tigonometric serise from infinite serise without knowing about EULER's work.At his early teens he could tell all the prime no from 1 to 10million.BELLsaid about him"EVEN EXPERT ANALYSIST HAIL RAMANUJAN AS A GIFT FROM HEAVEN".He had discovered almost50,000 theorems old & new.It was like DRINKING WATER TO HIM. WasFeynman a genius like that?

There is a letter "C", as if marking a Hollywood studio prop, on one of the rocks supposedly on the moon in this image.

http://www.xenophilia.com/zb/zb0003/Cshad.gif

In the original image taken by NASA the "C" appeared in the picture but in later years it was cancelled. And the true fact is that in some nasa images you could see the "C" and in others you couldnt.

Most people give excuses that, that was a reproduction flaw, but how can it be when the letters are so much aligned with the rock itself.

For those of you who think Neil Armstrong really landed on the moon, then where did that rock come from? Please be more specific and back up your claims with some solid evidence so that I can believe you.

No, go ahead, post your "evidence" and I will destroy them point for point.
Scared? I sure as hell would be if all I had was some drunk moron's evidence as proof the moon landings were faked.
But go ahead, post what evidence you have and I'll tear it apart like Oprah tears into a baked ham...
