Compression, my good man, also take into account the bigger the gun, the easier to get shot back when you're not looking

In theory, yes, a longer barrel has the potential for greater speed and accuracy, IF you maintain the barrel regularly. If every crevase int he inside of the barrel is full of gunk, the more of it the slower it will go. It would be a pain to carry around a 6 foot long barreled gun, cleaning it being ecen worse. It's madness I tell you, there can be too much of a good thing, if you count the ability to kill as "good". It's like... umm... let me get a comparison... like playing a video game or something, when you use the cheats, it kind of takes the fun out of it. The first few minutes it's like "oh my God sweet, I beat the game in 20 minutes", but then the fun wears off because you know what happens, you can do too much, the challenge is most of the fun in the game.

I hope that I helped!

I don't fully understand your question, for it lacks coherency. The barrel length affects velocity of the bullet. If the barrel is too short, the powder doesn't burn fully, and the bullet has less velocity than it would in a longer barrel...up to a point. If all of the powder burns while the bullet is still in the barrel, the friction with the barrel's interior slows the bullet. The perfect scenario is for the powder to burn fully just as the bullet leaves the barrel. It takes much experimenting to find the best loads for any given gun and cartridge.
