Folks. We're not hearing from the people who had the greatest incentive and resources to identify any such "faking..." - the Soviets.
The Soviet Union, it turns out, was dead serious about landing on the moon first, and almost beat the United States in sending a crew around the moon, before we did on Apollo 8.
Russian physicists and mathematicians are world leaders in their fields, both today and in the 1960s. If there was even a whiff that Apollo was a giant sham, don't you think the Sovs wouldn't have had the means to detect and prove it?
"Comrade Brezhnev, be assured that we have both the telemetry data and the direct images of the so-called "Tranquility Base" from our Pravda-1 facility in Omsk... the press conference is on for tomorrow as you have asked."
A telescope with the power to image the Apollo landing sites has got to be far less than the cost of a manned moon expedition. Please don't speculate about the "but that would give away their intelligence capability" meme either, the opportunity to call the US an outrageous liar for all time would have been worth it.
They would have lept on it with both boots. You don't think the KGB had their spies all over it?
Don't forget, Apollo was an organizational acheivement on the scale of the Normandy landing on June 6, 1944. Hundreds of thousands of very bright, motivated people toiled to bring it off. The Kremlin had endless opportunities to expose "the conspiracy" and would have been delighted to get it.
Problem: no conspiracy.

We had the tech of a washing machine back in the 60's and we repeatedly landed on the moon!? We've got major tech now, why haven't we been back? BECAUSE WE NEVER LANDED ON THE MOON.
The spacesuits used back then weren't water tight or airtight - especially at the zippers. How in the hell could they survive extreme temperatures and vacuum? If they DID work, then why don't we put them on now and go back to the moon? Because it was all BS. WE NEVER LANDED ON THE MOON.
With the powerful telescopes we have, why can't we see any of the following items left on the moon: American flags, moon buggy, lunar landing module? We can see new galaxies, nebula and 3 new planets, but why can't we see the crap we left on the moon? BECAUSE WE NEVER LANDED ON THE MOON.
Former space shuttle pilots forecasted that it would take 20-30 years before we 'return' to the moon. Why in the world would it take 20-30 more years to do this when we already did this 40 years ago!? Why? BECAUSE WE NEVER LANDED ON THE MOON.
Start chewing on this. I haven't even started with the dissection of the film & photos, let alone the multiple violations of physical law.

Some deny the moon landing because they are jealous of the USA.
Well, to those folks, remember that both the US and the former USSR grabbed up all of the surviving German scientists after World War II to help THEM get into space before the other super power.
And, in 1959, thousands of Canadians moved to the US to help found NASA after Canada's advanced aerospace program saw its prize program cancelled. That tipped the scales in favor of the USA.
So it was never an all-American effort. So stop your jealous whining. Yes, we ALL made it to the moon, hence "giant leap for mankind", not "giant leap for the USA"
