Also, please tell me what you think we should do with the continent once we have charted it out? What should we name it? Should I turn it into a landfill, a giant hotel, or what? Should I search for oil, or try to domesticate the strange animals that live there?

To raise money for a legit reason try Fundable.org. Utopia or Paradise would be a good name. A land of peace and love. Somewhere man can live without the fear of war or prosecution for their religious beliefs. I would have it commune style where everyone has an equal say in the running of the place. The sale of the oil could pay for the lifestyle.....but the animals were there first.....make it safe for them.

Yahoo Answers certainly isn't the place for fund-raising... I would think it would be funded by the government should the occasion arise.
