I have a short no more than five minute word problem. It is very easy..but i just need someone to check it...

Situation: Triangle tom lives in a triangualr house with some rectangular rooms. This living room is 10ft wide and 15 ft long. His game room is 20 ft by 30 ft- thus the dimensions are doubled.

Problem: Triangle toms living room is 20 ft high and his game room is double that: 40ft high. He wants to fill his game room half way up with colored plastic balls. Since all the dimensions are doubled he's only filling half the game room, he thinks the amount of space would be the same as that of the entire living room. Is he correct?

My answers: I said no, his prediction was wrong. The game room is 24,000 ft while his living room is 6000.

Apparently there is a 2.2 million dollar machine purchased by The Scripps Research Institute in San Diego that quickly screens protein molecules.

As said here in an article "CrystalMation allows scientists to quickly crystallize proteins, an otherwise laborious but critical step in the search for new antibodies against HIV"

can someone explain how new proteins would protect or fight against hiv?

Part of the argument against the Copernican system comes from the effects one would expect to see if the Earth moves. This argument has more depth than most accounts of it realize.

The first part of the argument questions "Why don't we see things left behind by the Earth as it spins and travels around the sun?" For example, why does a ball dropped from the top of high tower fall to the base of the tower instead of being left behind by the spinning earth to finally hit the ground some place far away?

The second part of the argument asks "Why don't things get thrown off by the spinning earth in the way we see other things thrown from spinning objects, such as water flying from a car tire after it rolls through a puddle?"
