I need the chemical equation of this problem. It has to work and I'm not typing it in wrong. How would you represent the words with compounds?

You can't. There is not enough information given. It could form SO, or SO2, or SO3 or SO4. You have to know which one is formed before you write this equation. Point this out to your chemistry teacher. It is a trick question. H2SO4 does not decompose anyway.

ok ....mayb u r rite.. bt which oxide.....dere so many options SO2 , SO3 , SO n also SO4... n onemore thing H2SO4 doesn't decompose directly into a non-metal oxide and water. it is a di-protic acid it cannot it has to first release H+ ions. i hope u understnd dis...
