In the 50"s to the mid 60's I found horned lizards around Oklahoma City along a corridor either side now marked by I-35 all the way south to San Antonio, Tx..very few east of that line..very numerous west of that line. Appear to be extinct in that area now, have found a few 200 to 300 miles west of that line in western Oklahoma and in far west Tx and in The southern half of New Mexico. Has anyone seen any in Oklahoma, Tx or New Mexico?
I Have been observing them along with the decline of box turtles, frogs, snakes and other lizards since 1952. I am Interrested in your sightings....Betty & Lee Edgemon of Tx.

im taking chemistry 102L this fall (introductory chemistry lab) and I need a lab notebook, obviously. I was wondering if a lab notebook can just be a composition notebook that is quad ruled (meaning, a notebook with graph paper inside) that i can purchase from any school supply store i.e. Office Depot or Staples. The reason why i ask this is because i took a college lab when i finished the 10th grade (through a special program) and i was told that i could just get that type of notebook and didnt have to get those fancy ones that the university book store sold with an extreme price....so were they just being nice or do people really just use that type of notebook?

Evolution is kind of a messed up theory.

My question is that if living things evolved from primal ooze that spontaneously came to life, would the living organisms be able to survive during the process of evolving?

Usually scientists say that the evolution process takes millions of years right? Well I want to know, how can the species survive with and evolving organ?

Take a look at humans - or even four-legged creatures, insects, etc. If their sophisticated internal and external systems needed to evolve to survive like they do today, how can they survive during the evo process?

Seeing how sophisticated our systems are, they need to exist immideately in order for us to even have a chance at life!!!!

FInd: p(m+2) if p(x)=3x-8x^2+x^3
This is an example in the book and I don't understand how it was worked out. Could someone explain it for me so I can do my homework problems. I am homeschooled=no teacher.
Solution:
p(m+2)=3(m+2)-8(m+2)^2+(m+2)^3
=3m+6-8m^2-32m-32+m^3+6m^2+12m+8 -- don't understand this part--- 32+m^3+6m^2+12m+8 (last of above solution). How do they come up with this?
Here is the entire Solution the book gives:
p(m+2)=3(m+2)-8(m+2)^2+(m+2)^3 --original
=3m+6-8m^2-32m-32+m^3+6m^2+12m+8 --next
=m^3-2m^2-17m-18 -- answer
