the flow of energy in an ecosystem occurs in only one direction. it is always consumed by higher levels of organisms in a food web.

Why does Al Gore think he has any authority whatsoever to speak on the matter of global climate change? He takes graphs that show weather changes in the past 50 years and claims it represents a drastic "climate change." "Climate" represents weather patterns that emerge over thousands of years. Trusting Al Gore's climate change analyses has as much credibility as trusting NAMBLA's analyses on child molesting. Get a clue and stop blindly following failure politicians who think they invented the internet.

When should you clean a Teflon pan, right after it comes out of the oven, or should you wait for it to cool? Which method would be best to maintain the Teflon coating? Metals heat and contract at different rates so if you rapidly cool the pan off with water then does that hurt the Teflon bond? The Teflon is a very thin coat so it can easily get scratched and ruined, how much will the differing metal contraction affect it? I use Teflon pizza sheets cooked at 450 degrees F (232 degrees C).

Yes!I know rising hot air and falling cold air is an over simplification. But going on that definition alone, if the air is going up, would'nt that mean that then we could track potential areas that could develop a twister? Cuase if the hot air going up then doesnt that mean the earth is getting rid of the heat into space? Kind of like what the sweat glands do for the body?Couldnt we take measurements of the surface earth tempatures or surface water temp for areas getting too hot, and then possibly do something about it before it turns into a tornadoe, hurricane, or twister?
That's just my idea about it given global warming. Or am missing something that ya'll know and I dont?
