I'd like to know about anyone's experience in the biology major programs at those oregon universities, because I want to transfer to a good institution.
Do the profs work well with students and in small groups?
Are the classes mostly lecture or are they discussion based?
Are internships/research opportunities very available?

Well, I just finished seeing "Global Warming: What you need to know" and I will see an Inconvenient Truth real soon and I had a question that a lot of people probably have, being does global warming exist?
Here are the facts:
The earth's average tempertature has increased by 1 degree centigrade (which may not seem much, but small changes can have big impacts)
Humans have at least a 5% impact on global temperatures (which is also quite a lot).
The earth's current tempertature does not concede with the expected cycle, (meaning that this warming isn't just something that happened all the time)
The earth's carbon dioxide level directly coincides with the earth's rise in temperature.
In the next 50-100 years, low level countries and states such as Bangledash and Florida may disappear completely.

Knowing all this, do you believe in global warming, and do you think that America should ratify the Kyoto Protocol?

In our pub, Skinner puts the bizarre questions. "If it was confirmed that an asteroid was about to smash into the earth, leaving only the USA to spin off and survive, would you rush over there?"

Since,
1/3= .333(infinite) and
2/3= .666(infinite)
Why is it when you add 1/3 + 2/3 together, you get 1,
instead of .999(infinite) ( .333 + .666= .999)???
