I'd like to study PA (physician assistant) with a pre medicine program, the PA program is only two years but I should finish a two years undergraduate, so it's like four years, I wonder if it's possible for me to do that.
the other question is ........ how hard are pre medicine programs?

Don't ever do a "pre-med" program!

You can do ANY major and be eligible for medical school as long as you complete the medical prequisite coursework.

Preqs include:
Baccalaureate coursework must include:
1 year general chem (with lab)
1 year organic chem (with lab)
1 year general biology (with lab)
1 year intro. physics (with lab)
1 year English
1 year calculus
Suggested coursework includes: psychology, statistics, biochemistry, humanities

The trick is to NOT major in biology. Biology major pre-meds are a dime a dozen, and they will be your stiffest competition for A's. You want A's. To get them, become a HUMANITIES major, ace the easy fluffy stuff, then focus your power on the prereqs. You'll graduate with a higher GPA, and not suffer from much of the stress the rest of us feel when we're up against 400 bio majors with the same goal of topping the curve. I was a molecular biology major, and it singlehandedly ruined my chances of getting into medical school.

Anyway, so if you really must know some nitty gritty, you want to look for a statistic called "matriculation rate" and see the proportion of students who apply versus get into medical school. Generally, top tier schools have higher matriculations rates.

Now as for the PA program you want to do, the problem with doing an undergrad PA program (as well as nursing and other undergraduate allied health sciences) is that a lot of the coursework will not count towards medical pre-requisites (which I explained to a nursing student in this question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtWkispAjRsEKmqPzCtbh3rsy6IX?qid=1006050122274 ). So you might wind up taking physiology or chemistry twice!

There are many routes into med school. Engineering majors get into med school as well as nutrition, life science, liberal arts, and etc.You need a heavy concentration of science in undergrad. as well as math and English. First make sure you can get into a 4 year program from the PA program. Then ask counselors which courses would be best for your plans. Study and do well because the interviewers for med school are looking for good grades and dedication.

I was pre-med until I knocked up a girl and had to quit to support her and my new son. The professers in pre med programs will purposly try to weed out the least dedicated students, to allow only the best and hardest working students to become medical students. You just have to keep in the back of your mind, that this is part of there job, so that special Edd don't end up doing heart surgery on your grandmother.
