Different species have different sizes of penises--but are all sperm the same size? And do they all look the same as human sperm (tadpole-like)?

I mean we did a 7 hour+ space walk the other day and it just seems so darn technical. Yet you see in Star Trek films (yes I know its the movies) how easily they get around in space. If we are to eventually send people up into space permantly them we need to get closer to Star Trek ability quickly. How else will we be able to build space stations of great size in space. A space station capable of housing 100 to 1000 people. You can't send every single piece up into space like the ISS fully assembled.

If all the material in the universe were concentrated in a small space just before the "Big Bang", why wouldn't the gravitational effects prevent light from escaping, thus creating a black hole instead of the explosion of the Big Bang?

I am studying how DNA probes can detect harmful alleles. The book I am reading describes that an allele for something like cystic fibrosis can be detected in a heterozygous individual by its restriction site. I understand the concept, I am just curious how an enzyme can cut and paste an allele, and how it knows which one to focus on?

This is a hypothetical experiment involving two independent variables. College students seeking counseling at a campus counseling center were administered the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) as a normal intake procedure. Scores range from zero to 63. Single, female undergraduate students, having scores between ten and eighteen on the BDI (moderate depression) and having ongoing relationship problems, were recruited for this experiment. Twenty-four female students volunteered to participate. Six students were randomly assigned to each of four conditions:

Professional Counselor without Bibliotherapy:
Paraprofessional Counselor without Bibliotherapy:
Professional Counselor with Bibliotherapy:
Paraprofessional Counselor with Bibliotherapy:

Bibliotherapy entailed the reading of a recent book titled: “Student-friendly Relationship.” This book was written as a self-help manual for college students having relationship distress. It discussed “warning signs” indicating that a romantic relationship was likely to disrupt academic achievement. The book also included chapters on improving communication in romantic relationships and coping with the break up of a relationship. At the midpoint of six weeks of counseling, students in the bibliotherapy group took a short multiple choice quiz on the book to assure that they read the book. All twelve counselors involved in the study had read the book and were instructed to discuss the book in the bibliotherapy groups but not to discuss the book in the groups without bibliotherapy.

Six professional counselors had all achieved professional licensure and had from 2 to 10 years of counseling experience. Each counselor was assigned to two clients, one in the Bibliotherapy group and one in the group without bibliotherapy.

Six paraprofessional counselors were female undergraduate psychology majors in their junior and senior year. These paraprofessional counselors had attended a two week workshop on peer counseling that included active listening skills and fundamental strategies for crisis intervention. Each counselor was assigned to two clients, one in the bibliotherapy group and one in the group without bibliotherapy.

Nature has shown that X Chromosomes were the first to appear in the Natural selection of species. Y Chromosomes came about when one of the X chromosomes deffected within the evoloutionary process. The Y chromosomes are not stable; and due to their unstable nature they are deminishing and shrinking. In about 300,000 years from now the only chromosomes to survive are the X chromosomes. Ultimately ending the human existence gradually after wards; that is if we do survive to see that day. Only Time will tell.

If the Big Bank theory is true, and the universe was created from an infinite point, expanding at near the speed of light in all directions, all matter including us, on our side of the center, would be moving away from all matter on the other side of center of the universe at a speed greater than the speed of light, cumumlatively speaking, therefore the light from them would never be able to reach our telescopes, and we could never look any further than the origin of the Big Bang event.

How is carbon sequestration not idiotic science?
