To be homosexual you must be attracted to people of your own sex; PERIOD, NO EXCEPTIONS! If a person is not sexually attracted to those of their particular gender then they are not and can not be accurately labeled homosexual. Masturbation is a type of sexual behavior, and although it can not be defined as inner-course it is still a normal sexual behavior. The fear that masturbating too much is bad mostly comes from cultural beliefs that are not founded on true biological research taking human nature into account. Now, if the person you are possibly referring to is unhappy with the current situation, or if they believe it may be caused by a compulsion, then it may be a good idea for them to talk to a sexual therapist, just to put their mind at ease. Just keep in mind that masturbation is the only truly "safe" sex available and it is the only way to guarantee sexual satisfaction without the fear of rejection.

It depends on what you do and prefer. I do masturbate, and I think everybody does, it's something usual on humans. But, I think you passed the line if you prefer masturbation than sex. Watch yourself boy.
