I have seen many questions on here about the south, but they never mention Florida. So I thought I would ask people as to why Florida isn't considered part of the south, when its the furthest state South. I would like to know since I happen to live in Florida.

Does an electron always have a position that we just dont know until we do an experiment or is it a cloud around the nucleus with no definite position? Please do not answer with elementary answers, like copying and pasting info about quantum physics. I want a real answer regarding electron information when we dont observe it.

all matter is made up of electrons and quarks (up, down, strange, charm, top, bottom), each quark has a 1/3 charge or 2/3 charge right? So how much mass does a quark have? Aren't Quarks mostly made up of Invisible force, and the mass is near zero? So how is it then that everything is made up of pretty much nothing?

Any particular level of college degree? (My highest level is an associates...so far).

I've had lots of heavy writing classes, along with science & technology classes. But since I'm at the associates degree level, I'm wondering if maybe it's possible I could find some kind of junior level science writer type of job with a magazine, etc.

In 1947 a ranch forman found a debris field of what appeared to be a craft and creatures of unknown origin. Since then there has apparently been a massive cover up of the true details of the incident. Wouldn't it be great if enought people from around the world, including other governments, demanded to know the truth. If it was just a top-secret clandestine test aircraft that crashed, or a weather baloon, why keep all of the data from that period classified. Surely after nearly 60 years such information would not need to be secret any longer.

After I take intro biology II, which is best to take? I'm not going towards pre-med, if that helps to clarify. I figured I'll need at least one for a natural science major.

Also which would you say is the most difficult?

Lets say that right now the Earth (the entire solar system) is moving in some direction away from an object or cluster of objects at just past the speed of light (foregoing Einsteins theories for the moment).

If that were true (or possible) we would not be able to see the object(s) as light reflected from them would never reach us.

So let's say we started traveling toward this "object" (in a rocket or whatever) at some speed so that the difference between the speed of the object and our current speed were less than the speed of light, we would then start seeing the object. Because now, light reflected from the object would reach our eyes (or camera).

At first it would be probably appear red but as our speed increased (and the differential speed decreased), we would see the object more clearly.

Possible?

They are said to contain a large amount of mass that rotates like a galaxy, but contains no stars. Without stars to give light, it can only be found using radio telescopes. Could there also be planets in these dark galaxies that might contain some kind of life?
