1 yard = 3 feet

25/3 (8 1/3) length in yards by 2/3 width in yards

It results in 9 yards, either by adding the fractions together or adding the feet together then dividing by 3.

First you have to find the area , which is L x W, in which case, it is 50 square feet (25 x 2). Then convert the answer, 50 to yards. 3 feet is 1 yard so 50 feet is 16.6666 yards. So there is your answer: 50 feet is 16.6666 yards
